Seller notes
“This USA IMPORT cart is in great condition. All the labels are complete. The front label has a very small bubble near the middle and a couple of scuffs around the edges. The spine label has some wear at the top edge and the whiteness of the label is a little dirty from age/use, as is the back label. The playback pads are the new spring mechanism type. Please check the photos.”

PLEASE NOTE: As this item has been obtained overseas, there is a possibility that the tape may have become loose from the spool in transit.
If you choose our service option, we would check this and correct the issue for you.
If you purchase directly and do not check the tape inside before playback, you will risk damaging the tape and no refund will be available.

All 8 tracks are pre-loved (used) and are sold “as is”.

We do offer a “service cart” option or you can add additional spare parts if you wish to service the cart yourself.

It is highly recommended that all 8 tracks have replacement pads, a new foil splice and internal cleaning done before use.

The foam pads inside are very old (over 40 years) and would have deteriorated, even if the cart is sealed and has never been used.

8tracks.uk can not be held responsible if the tape or player become damaged if this procedure is not carried out on your 8 track tape purchase.

Description

Released in 1979, Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk is a bold and experimental album that stands as a testament to the band’s creative ingenuity and willingness to push boundaries. Following the commercial success of their 1977 album Rumours, Tusk marked a departure from the band’s signature pop-rock sound, venturing into more experimental and diverse territory.

The album’s diverse musical styles reflect the individual contributions of its songwriters, with Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie providing their signature melodic pop-rock anthems, while Lindsey Buckingham’s darker, more experimental compositions take centre stage. This juxtaposition of styles lends Tusk a unique and captivating sound, showcasing the band’s versatility and willingness to explore new musical horizons.
