PLEASE NOTE: As this item has been obtained overseas, there is a possibility that the tape may have become loose from the spool in transit.
If you choose our service option, we would check this and correct the issue for you.
If you purchase directly and do not check the tape inside before playback, you will risk damaging the tape and no refund will be available.

All 8 tracks are pre-loved (used) and are sold “as is”.

Description

Berlin by Lou Reed is a dark and atmospheric album that tells the story of a doomed relationship between two drug addicts in Berlin. The album is a concept album, and the songs are all interconnected, telling the story from the perspectives of both the male and female characters.

The music on Berlin is a mix of rock, folk, and cabaret. The songs are often slow and brooding, but there are also some upbeat moments. The album’s production is lush and cinematic, and it features a wide range of instruments, including guitars, keyboards, strings, and horns.

Reed’s lyrics on Berlin are raw and unflinching. He sings about drug abuse, domestic violence, and suicide. The album is not for the faint of heart, but it is a powerful and moving work of art.

Overall, Berlin is a masterpiece. It is one of Lou Reed’s most ambitious and accomplished albums. It is a dark and heavy album, but it is also a beautiful and rewarding one.
